Cyclone Forecast for Odisha: System May Cross Coast Around Sept 23-24, Says Meteorologist

ଆସନ୍ତା ୧୭ ତାରିଖ ବେଳକୁ ଆଣ୍ଡାମାନରେ ଏକ ଘୂର୍ଣ୍ଣିବଳୟ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହେବ । ତାହା ୨୩ ତାରିଖ ରାତି କିମ୍ବା ୨୪ ବେଳକୁ ପୁରୀ କିମ୍ବା ଜଗତସିଂପୁର ଦେଇ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଉପକୂଳ ଅତିକ୍ରମ କରିପାରେ । ଏହା ଗତିପଥ ବଦଳାଇ ବି ପାରେ। ବାତ୍ୟା ଆଶଙ୍କାକୁ ନେଇ ଏପରି ପୂର୍ବାନୁମାନ କରିଛନ୍ତି ପାଣିପାଗ ବିଜ୍ଞାନୀ ଶରତ ସାହୁ ।
A weather system is forecast to develop over the Andaman region around September 17 and may move towards the Odisha coast. Meteorologist Sharat Sahu has predicted that the system could potentially cross the Odisha coast near Puri or Jagatsinghpur around the night of September 23 or September 24. He also said the system could change its track.
