Rain is set to continue across Odisha as a new low-pressure area is expected to form over the North Andaman Sea by the evening of September 19. According to the source report, the system may gradually intensify and move west-northwest towards South Odisha and the North Andhra Pradesh coast around September 22–23. A Yellow Warning has been issued for 22 districts for the next 24 hours. IMD Director General Dr. Mrutyunjay Mohapatra is quoted in the report on the weather situation.
