A student’s death at a private college hostel in Cuttack has triggered tension and protests. A grieving mother was seen crying inconsolably at the police station, while people gathered outside the college gate and raised slogans demanding that the college be shut down. Chinmay Sahu, son of Manas Sahu from Athagarh in Cuttack, was studying +2 Science at a private college located in CDA Sector-10. The family had sent him to the hostel with hopes of building his future, but later received the shocking news of his death.
