ସମ୍ବଲପୁର ଜିଏମ୍ ବିଶ୍ବବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ଛାତ୍ର କରନ ଏକ୍କା ବର୍ଷ ବର୍ଷ ଧରି ନିଜ ପରିଚୟ ସଂଶୋଧନ ପାଇଁ ଦୌଡ଼ୁଛନ୍ତି, କାରଣ ତାଙ୍କ ଆଧାର ଓ ଶିକ୍ଷାଗତ ସାର୍ଟିଫିକେଟରେ ବାପାଙ୍କ ନାଁ ଓ ଜନ୍ମ ତାରିଖ ଭିନ୍ନ ରହିଛି। ଏହି ଅସଙ୍ଗତି ଯୋଗୁଁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଦିବ୍ୟାଙ୍ଗ ଭତ୍ତା ଓ କଲେଜ ଷ୍ଟାଇପେଣ୍ଡ ଭଳି ସୁବିଧା ପାଇବାରେ ସମସ୍ୟା ହେଉଥିବା ସେ ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଏବେ ରାଜ୍ୟ ମାନବାଧିକାର କମିଶନଙ୍କ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷଙ୍କୁ ଭେଟି ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରିବା ପରେ ତ୍ୱରିତ ପଦକ୍ଷେପର ଆଶ୍ୱାସନ ମିଳିଛି।
Karan Ekka, a student at Sambalpur GM University, has been struggling for years to rectify his personal details, as there are discrepancies regarding his father's name and his own date of birth between his Aadhaar card and educational certificates. He has alleged that these inconsistencies are hindering his access to benefits such as the disability allowance and college stipend. Following a meeting with the Chairperson of the State Human Rights Commission to lodge a complaint, he has received an assurance that prompt action will be taken.
