Who does Kotia belong to? Andhra Pradesh is repeatedly entering Odisha, with the issue gaining prominence during elections. Despite facing resistance, the neighbouring state continues its attempts to reach voters in Kotia. With Mandal and Panchayat elections underway, Andhra Pradesh has reportedly included people from Odisha as voters, relying on their votes in its elections. CCTV cameras have also been installed to keep a watch.

Why is Andhra Pradesh so keen on Kotia? The report raises questions over repeated incursions and the neighbouring state's efforts to secure votes from the region.

Odisha has provided housing, electricity, food and education to the people of Kotia. Despite these facilities, the report highlights that people from Kotia are still turning towards Andhra Pradesh, raising questions about the ongoing dispute over the region.
