Description:
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay is at the centre of intense political discussion after his party’s remarkable success in its first election. A meeting with Rahul Gandhi at his residence on Saturday, followed by travelling on the metro and sharing the stage with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday, has sparked debate over his political strategy. Is Vijay practising balanced politics by engaging with both the Opposition and the ruling establishment, or are these engagements part of his separate responsibilities as a party leader and Chief Minister?
