16-month-old Trisika is battling Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type-2, a rare neuromuscular disorder. Her family says around ₹16 crore is required for her treatment, making the huge medical expense a major challenge for them. While the family hopes to get their little daughter treated, the financial burden has become a major concern. In this difficult time, some benevolent individuals and social organisations have extended support to Trisika’s family according to the source text. Every contribution is valuable for the family as they continue their struggle with the hope that Trisika will recover, smile again and see the world with her own eyes.
