Budhabalanga River Rises Above Warning Level in Balasore Amid Heavy Rain

ଲଗାଣ ବର୍ଷା ଯୋଗୁଁ ବଢୁଛି ବୁଢ଼ାବଳଙ୍ଗ ନଦୀର ଜଳସ୍ତର। ବାଲେଶ୍ବରରେ ବୁଢାବଳଙ୍ଗର ସତର୍କ ସଙ୍କେତ ଉପରେ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହେଉଛି ବୁଢ଼ାବଳଙ୍ଗ ନଦୀର ଜଳସ୍ତର। ସତର୍କ ସଙ୍କେତ ୭.୨୧ ଥିବା ବେଳେ ସକାଳ ୯ଟା ସୁଦ୍ଧା ବୁଢ଼ାବଳଙ୍ଗ ନଦୀର ଜଳସ୍ତର ୭.୪୦ ମିଟରରେ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହେଉଛି। ଯଦି ନଦୀରେ ଜଳ ସ୍ତର ଆହୁରି ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଏ ତେବେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ତଳିଆ ଅଞ୍ଚଳର ଗାଁ ମାନଙ୍କରେ ବଢ଼ି ପାଣି ପଶି ବନ୍ୟା ଆସିବାର ଆଶଙ୍କା କରାଯାଉଛି।

The water level of the Budhabalanga River is rising in Balasore due to continuous rain. Against the warning level of 7.21 metres, the river was flowing at 7.40 metres as of 9 am. If the water level rises further, low-lying villages may once again face the risk of floodwater entering residential areas and causing flooding.
