The deep depression has triggered rough sea conditions along several parts of the Odisha coast. High waves, strong winds and turbulent seas have been reported near Chilika, Satabhaya in Kendrapada, and Shiali and Ramtara in Jagatsinghpur. Fishing boats and coastal villages have been affected, with seawater entering some nearby areas.
