ବଙ୍ଗୋପସାଗରରେ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହେଲା ଗଭୀର ଅବପାତ। ବଙ୍ଗୋପସାଗରରେ ସୃଷ୍ଟ ଲଘୁଚାପ ଏବେ ଅବପାତରୁ ଗଭୀର ଅବପାତରେ ପରିଣତ ହୋଇଛି। ଏହା ଏବେ ଗୋପାଳପୁରଠାରୁ ୧୫୦କିମି ଦୂରରେ କେନ୍ଦ୍ରୀଭୂତ ରହିଛି। କାଲି ରାତି ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଏହା ବିଶାଖାପାଟଣା ଓ ଗୋପାଳପୁର ଭିତରେ ଉପକୂଳ ଅତିକ୍ରମ କରିବ। ଏହି ସମୟରେ ପବନର ବେଗ ସର୍ବାଧିକ ୫୫ରୁ ୬୫ କିଲୋମିଟର ଯାଏଁ ରହିବ। ସ୍ଥଳ ବିଶେଷରେ ଝଟକା ପବନ ୭୫ କିଲୋମିଟର ଯାଏଁ ବହିବା ସମ୍ଭାବନା ରହିଥିବା ପାଣିପାଗ ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ସୂଚନା ଦିଆଯାଇଛି।

A deep depression has formed over the Bay of Bengal and is currently centred around 150 km from Gopalpur. The system is expected to cross the coast between Visakhapatnam and Gopalpur by tomorrow night. Wind speed may reach 55–65 kmph, with gusts up to 75 kmph at some places, according to the weather department.
