Deep Depression: Odisha Administration Fully Prepared To Tackle Heavy Rain

ଗଭୀର ଅବପାତକୁ ନେଇ ସଜାଗ ରାଜ୍ୟ, ମୁକାବିଲା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ପ୍ରଶାସନ। ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଶାସନ ସଚିବଙ୍କ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶରେ ସମ୍ପୃକ୍ତ ବିଭାଗ ଏବଂ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପ୍ରଶାସନ ସହ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତିର ସମୀକ୍ଷା କରାଯାଇଛି। ସମ୍ବେଦନଶୀଳ ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ଚିହ୍ନଟ କରାଯାଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ସମସ୍ତ ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି କରାଯାଇଛି। ପ୍ରଭାବିତ ହେବାକୁ ଥିବା ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଗୁଡିକରେ ବାତ୍ୟା ଓ ବନ୍ୟା ଆଶ୍ରୟସ୍ଥଳୀ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ। ଅତ୍ୟାବଶ୍ୟକ ସାମଗ୍ରୀ ଓ ଉପକରଣ ଯଥେଷ୍ଟ ମହଜୁଦ ରଖାଯାଇଛି। ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ଓ ଜରୁରୀକାଳୀନ ସେବା ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ରହିଛି। ସଜାଗ ରହିଛନ୍ତି ବିପର୍ଯ୍ୟୟ ପ୍ରଶମନ ବାହିନୀ। ନଦୀ, ଜଳାଶୟ ଓ ଡ୍ୟାମ୍ ର ଜଳସ୍ତର ଉପରେ ନିରନ୍ତର ନଜର ରଖାଯାଇଛି। ସେହିପରି ଭୂସ୍ଖଳନ-ପ୍ରବଣ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ବିଶେଷ ସତର୍କତା ଅବଲମ୍ବନ କରାଯାଉଛି। ସମ୍ଭାବ୍ୟ ବର୍ଷାଜନିତ ପରିସ୍ଥିତିର ତ୍ୱରିତ ମୁକାବିଲା ପାଇଁ ମୋଟ ୩୩ଟି ODRAF ଟିମ୍ ନିୟୋଜିତ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି l ୨୪ଟି ଟିମ୍ ସମ୍ବେଦନଶୀଳ ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ମୁତୟନ ହୋଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ୯ଟି ଟିମ୍ ଛତ୍ରପୁରରେ ରିଜର୍ଭରେ ରଖାଯାଇଛି। ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ଓ କୋରାପୁଟରେ ୬ଟି ଲେଖାଏଁ, ଗଜପତି, ମାଲକାନଗିରି ଓ ରାୟଗଡ଼ାରେ ୩ଟି ଲେଖାଏଁ, କଳାହାଣ୍ଡିରେ ୨ଟି ଏବଂ ବଲାଙ୍ଗିରରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଓଡ୍ରାଫ ଟିମ୍ ମୁତୟନ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି।

Odisha administration has stepped up preparations to deal with the deep depression, with 33 ODRAF teams deployed, including 24 teams in sensitive districts and nine reserve teams at Chhatrapur. Shelters, essential supplies, health and emergency services have been kept ready, while water levels in rivers, reservoirs and dams are being closely monitored. IMD has issued red warnings for heavy to very heavy rainfall in several southern Odisha districts on September 23–25. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea till September 24, while people have been asked to avoid low-lying, submerged and landslide-prone areas and follow official and IMD advisories.
