DLO’s Residence Searched: ₹7.29 Lakh Cash, 300g Gold Seized in Keonjhar

ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସ ପଞ୍ଝାରେ ପଡ଼ିଥିବା କେନ୍ଦୁଝର DLOଙ୍କ ବାସଭବନରୁ ୭ ଲକ୍ଷ ୨୯ ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କା ଜବତ। କେନ୍ଦୁଝରସ୍ଥିତ ଶ୍ରମ ଅଧିକରୀଙ୍କ ସରକାରୀ ବାସଭବନରୁ ଏହି ନଗଦ କ୍ୟାସ୍ ମିଳିଛି। ଏହାସହ ତାଙ୍କ ଘରୁ 300 ଗ୍ରାମର ସୁନା ଅଳଙ୍କାର ମଧ୍ୟ ଜବତ ହୋଇଛି। ଗତକାଲି ଜଣେ ଠିକାଦାରଙ୍କଠାରୁ ୨୦ ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କା ଲାଞ୍ଚ ନେଲା ବେଳେ କେନ୍ଦୁଝର ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଶ୍ରମ ଅଧିକାରୀ ଆକାଶ ବିଷୋୟୀଙ୍କୁ ଧରିଥିଲା ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସ। ଲେବର ଲାଇସେନ୍ସ ନବୀକରଣ ପାଇଁ ସେ ଲାଞ୍ଚ ନେଉଥିବା ଅଭିଯୋଗ ହୋଇଛି। ତାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଲାଞ୍ଚ ନେଇଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ଦାଗୀ ୨୦,୦୦୦ ଟଙ୍କା ଜବତ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ପରେ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଶ୍ରମ ଅଧିକାରୀଙ୍କ ୨ଟି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଚଢାଉ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ଲାଞ୍ଚ ମାମଲାରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଗିରଫ ପରେ ଆଜି କୋର୍ଟ ଚାଲାଣ ବେଳେ ହଠାତ୍ ଆକାଶ ବିଷୋୟୀ ଛାତିରେ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଅନୁଭବ କରିଥିଲେ। ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସ ଅଧିକାରୀ ତାଙ୍କୁ କେନ୍ଦୁଝର ମେଡିକାଲର ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ୱାର୍ଡରେ ଭର୍ତ୍ତି କରିଛନ୍ତି।...

Keonjhar District Labour Officer Akash Bishoyi has come under the Vigilance scanner after he was allegedly caught accepting a ₹20,000 bribe from a contractor for renewal of a labour licence. A subsequent search of his government residence in Keonjhar reportedly led to the seizure of ₹7.29 lakh in cash along with 300 grams of gold jewellery. Searches were also conducted at two locations linked to the officer. After his arrest in the alleged bribery case, Akash Bishoyi reportedly complained of chest pain while being taken for court production and was admitted to a special ward at Keonjhar Medical. The Vigilance investigation is underway.
