‘Forest Humans’ May Leave Odisha; STF Probes Origin of 5 Rescued Orangutans

The investigation into the rescue of five orangutans from Bhograi in Balasore is underway to find out how they came to Odisha. The Odisha STF will seek assistance from police in Assam, Mizoram and Maharashtra, where orangutans had earlier been rescued in similar circumstances. Their experience and information are expected to help the investigation trace the origin of the five orangutans.
