ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଆକାଶରେ ଘୂର୍ଣ୍ଣିବଳୟ ସାଙ୍ଗକୁ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଛି ଲଘୁଚାପ କ୍ଷେତ୍ର । ଆଉ ଏହାର ପ୍ରଭାବରେ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଆସନ୍ତା ୪ ଦିନ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ହେବ । ଏଥିସହିତ ବିଜୁଳି ଘଡ଼ଘଡ଼ି ସହ ଝଟକା ପବନ ବହିପାରେ । ଏ ନେଇ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ବରସ୍ଥିତ ଆଞ୍ଚଳିକ ପାଣିପାଗ ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ସୂଚନା ଦିଆଯାଇଛି । ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଗାଙ୍ଗେୟ ପଶ୍ଚିମବଙ୍ଗ ଏବଂ ସଂଲଗ୍ନ ଉତ୍ତର ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଉପରେ ଥିବା ଉପର ବାୟୁ ଘୂର୍ଣ୍ଣିବଳୟ ପ୍ରଭାବରେ ସେଠାରେ ଏକ ଲଘୁଚାପ କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଛି ।

A fresh low-pressure area has formed over South Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining northern Odisha under the influence of an upper-air cyclonic circulation. The system is expected to bring heavy rainfall across Odisha for the next four days, with the weather likely to remain active till August 13. The Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar has warned that several areas may also experience thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds. The weather system developing over the region is likely to keep rainfall activity intensified across the state during this period.
