In a shocking incident from Odisha's Balangir district, police have arrested Shatrughna Sahu for allegedly committing human sacrifice in a bid to reunite with his wife, who had left him 10 years ago. According to the Balangir SP, the accused murdered Santosh Kharsel of Tebadamunda, buried the severed head inside his home worship room, and dumped the torso into a pond in Bagada village. Police recovered the headless body from the pond and subsequently cracked the gruesome case, arresting Shatrughna after he confessed to performing the ritual sacrifice to bring his missing wife back
home.
