The Commissionerate Police has taken major action following violence involving online taxi drivers. More than 50 Ola, Uber and Rapido drivers have been arrested in connection with the incident. Protesters allegedly vandalised 14 Ama Buses and pelted police with stones during the agitation. The protest turned violent, with a tense situation resembling a clash developing at the spot. Police action has followed the incidents of vandalism and stone-pelting during the protest.
