ଦୁର୍ଦ୍ଦାନ୍ତ ଅପରାଧୀ ଲୋକେଶ ସିଂକୁ ଏନକାଉଣ୍ଟର। ବାଲେଶ୍ୱର ଜିଲ୍ଲା ସିମୁଳିଆ ଥାନା ଅଡ଼ା ଛକ ନିକଟରେ ଏନକାଉଣ୍ଟର କଲା ପୋଲିସ। ଡକାୟତି ଉଦ୍ୟମ ବେଳେ କାବୁ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଚଢ଼ାଉ କରିଥିଲା ପୋଲିସ। ରାଣୀତାଲ-କୁପାରୀ ରୋଡରେ ପୋଲିସ ଓ ଦୁର୍ବୃତ୍ତଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଗୁଳି ବିନିମୟ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ପୋଲିସକୁ ଦେଖି ପ୍ରଥମେ ଗୁଳି ଚଳାଇଥିଲା ଲୋକେଶ। ଆତ୍ମରକ୍ଷା ପାଇଁ ପାଲଟା ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିଥିଲା ପୋଲିସ।
Police conducted an encounter with notorious criminal Lokesh Singh near Ada Chhak under Simulia police limits in Balasore district. The police team had reportedly launched an operation to nab him while he was allegedly attempting a robbery. An exchange of fire took place between the police and the miscreants on the Ranital-Kupari road. According to the report, Lokesh allegedly opened fire first after spotting the police, following which the police retaliated in self-defence. Further details regarding the encounter are awaited.
