Actor Pappu Pom Pom has faced opposition after allegedly describing AWM, starring Manoj Mishra, as a “copy-paste” film. Members of the All Odisha Divyang Janakalyan Sangha staged a protest outside Pappu’s residence over his remarks. The film’s producer and scriptwriter have also warned of defamation proceedings against the actor. The controversy has sparked a fresh debate in the Odia film industry over the comments on AWM.
