ନିର୍ବାଚନ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ପଞ୍ଜାବରେ ଗୁଳିକାଣ୍ଡ। ପଞ୍ଜାବୀ ଇନଫ୍ଲୁଏନ୍ସର ଏବଂ ମେକଅପ୍ ଆର୍ଟିଷ୍ଟ ମ୍ୟାଡ୍ ସାନ୍ଧୁଙ୍କୁ ଗୁଳି କରି ହତ୍ୟା କରାଯାଇଛି। ଏହି ଗୁଳିକାଣ୍ଡ ଅମୃତସରର ଲୋହାରକା ରୋଡ୍ ପ୍ରତାପ ନଗର ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଘଟିଛି। ଗୁଳିମାଡ଼ ପରେ ସାନ୍ଧୁ ରାସ୍ତା କଡ଼ରେ ରକ୍ତ ଜୁଡ଼ୁବୁଡ଼ୁ ଅବସ୍ଥାରେ ପଡ଼ିଥିବା ଦେଖିବାକୁ ମିଳିଥିଲା। ଗୁଳିମାଡ ପରର ଏକ ଭିଡିଓ ସୋସିଆଲ ମିଡିଆରେ ଭାଇରାଲ ହେବାରେ ଲାଗିଛି। ସାନ୍ଧୁଙ୍କୁ ତୁରନ୍ତ ନିକଟ ମେଡିକାଲକୁ ନିଆଯାଉଥିବା ବେଳେ ବାଟରେ ହିଁ ତାଙ୍କର ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ହୋଇଥିଲା। କିଛି ଦିନ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ସାନ୍ଧୁଙ୍କୁ ଜୀବନରୁ ମାରିଦେବାକୁ ଧମକ ମିଳୁଥିଲା। ପୋଲିସ ହତ୍ୟାକାଣ୍ଡର ତଦନ୍ତ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଛି। ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ଡେପୁଟି ପୋଲିସ କମିଶନର ସିରିଭେନ୍ନେଲାଙ୍କ କହିବା ଅନୁଯାୟୀ, ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟା ପ୍ରାୟ ୬ଟାରେ ଦୁଇଜଣ ଅଜ୍ଞାତ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ତାଙ୍କ ଉପରକୁ ଗୁଳି ଚଳାଇଥିଲେ। ମ୍ୟାଡ୍ ସାନ୍ଧୁ ସୋସିଆଲ ମିଡିଆରେ ମେକଅପ୍ ଆର୍ଟିଷ୍ଟ, ଫ୍ୟାଶନ ଷ୍ଟାଇଲିଂ ଏବଂ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ପୋଡକାଷ୍ଟରେ ମନୋରଞ୍ଜନ ଦୁନିଆ ଓ ଲିଙ୍ଗଗତ ସମସ୍ୟା ଉପରେ ଆଲୋଚନା ପାଇଁ ବେଶ୍ ପରିଚିତ ଥିଲେ। ତାଙ୍କର ପୁରା ନାଁ ମଧୁସୂଦନ। ସେ ସମଲିଙ୍ଗୀ ହୋଇଥିବାରୁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ସୋସିଆଲ ମିଡିଆରେ କ୍ରମାଗତ ଭାବେ ଟ୍ରୋଲ୍ କରାଯାଉଥିଲା। ଏହାର ଜବାବରେ ସେ କହିଥିଲେ, "ଭଗବାନ ମତେ ଯେମିତି ଗଢ଼ିଛନ୍ତି ମୁଁ ସେମିତି", ଏବଂ ସେ ନିଜ ପରିଚୟକୁ କେବେ ଲୁଚାଇ ନଥିଲେ। ସେ ପଞ୍ଜାବ ଓ ମୁମ୍ବାଇ ଚଳଚ୍ଚିତ୍ର ଜଗତରେ ଜଣେ ଷ୍ଟାଇଲିଷ୍ଟ ଏବଂ ସହକାରୀ କୋଷ୍ଟ୍ୟୁମ୍ ଡିଜାଇନର୍ ଭାବେ କାମ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଥିଲେ। ଇନଷ୍ଟାଗ୍ରାମ ରିଲ୍ସ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ସେ ବେଶ୍ ଲୋକପ୍ରିୟ ହୋଇଥିଲେ ଏବଂ LGBTQ+ ସମୁଦାୟର ସପକ୍ଷରେ ସ୍ୱର ଉତ୍ତୋଳନ କରୁଥିଲେ। ସେ 'ଓଏ ଭୋଲେ ଓଏ' ଭଳି ପଞ୍ଜାବୀ ଫିଲ୍ମରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଅଭିନୟ କରିଥିଲେ।

Punjabi social media influencer and makeup artist Mad Sandhu, whose full name was Madhusudan, was shot dead in Amritsar on Saturday evening. The incident took place in the Loharka Road–Pratap Nagar area, where Sandhu was found injured on the roadside after the shooting and reportedly died while being taken to a hospital. Police have launched an investigation, and reports say two unidentified attackers were involved. Sandhu was known for his work as a makeup artist and fashion stylist and for appearing on podcasts discussing the entertainment industry and gender issues. He was openly gay and had spoken publicly about his identity while facing homophobic trolling on social media.
