୨୦୨୯ ବିଧାନସଭା ନିର୍ବାଚନରେ ନିମାପଡ଼ାରୁ ପୁଣି ଲଢ଼ିବେ ସମୀର ଦାଶ। ପଞ୍ଚାୟତ ଓ ପୌର ନିର୍ବାଚନ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ବିଜେପି ଯୁବ ସମାବେଶ କରି ଏଭଳି ଘୋଷଣା ପରେ ନିମାପଡ଼ା ରାଜନୀତିରେ ଚର୍ଚ୍ଚା ଜୋର ଧରିଛି। ଆଗାମୀ ସାଧାରଣ ନିର୍ବାଚନରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀ ହେବାକୁ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ଘୋଷଣା କରିବା ସହ ଉପମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରଭାତୀ ପରିଡ଼ାଙ୍କୁ ବି ସମାଲୋଚନା କରିଛନ୍ତି। ନିମାପଡ଼ା ନଗର ମଣ୍ଡଳ ଦଳୀୟ ବ୍ୟାନରରେ ଏକ ବିଶାଳ ଯୁବ ବୈଠକର ଆୟୋଜନ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା।
Former Nimapara MLA and BJP leader Samir Dash has announced that he will contest the 2029 Assembly election from Nimapara. The announcement was reportedly made at a BJP youth meeting ahead of the panchayat and municipal elections, triggering fresh political discussion in the constituency. Dash also criticised Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida. The two have been political rivals in Nimapara, and Parida is the sitting MLA from the constituency.
