Five baby orangutans are gradually recovering at Nandankanan Zoological Park in Odisha. The little animals are now eating well, playing together and spending 15–30 minutes in the sunlight every day as they slowly adapt to the local environment. A five-member technical committee formed by the PCCF is monitoring their health and treatment. Blood, stool and urine samples have been collected and X-rays conducted during their health check-ups.
