କେବେ ହେବ ଛାତ୍ର ସଂସଦ ନିର୍ବାଚନ? ସରକାରଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଚାପ ପକାଇଲା ଛାମୁଆ ଛାତ୍ର ସଂଗଠନ ଏବିଭିପି। ଶୀଘ୍ର ତାରିଖ ଘୋଷଣା ନେଇ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ସିଗ୍ନେଚର କ୍ୟାଂପେନ୍ ଜରିଆରେ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ଆକର୍ଷଣ କରିଥିଲା ଏବିଭିପି। ଏପଟେ ବିଧାନସଭା ଚାଲିଥିବା ବେଳେ ପୁଣି ଛାତ୍ର ସଂସଦ ନିର୍ବାଚନ ପ୍ରସଙ୍ଗକୁ ନେଇ ସ୍ୱର ଉଠାଇଛି ଏବିଭିପି। ସଂଗଠନର ଓଡ଼ିଶା ରାଜ୍ୟ ସଂପାଦିକା କହିଛନ୍ତି, କ୍ୟାଂପସ୍ ହେଉଛି ଛାତ୍ର ନେତୃତ୍ୱର ଉତ୍ପତ୍ତିସ୍ଥଳ।

The issue of student union elections has once again come into focus in Odisha, with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) putting pressure on the government to announce the election date soon. The student organisation had earlier drawn the Chief Minister’s attention through a signature campaign demanding an early announcement. With the Assembly session underway, ABVP has again raised its voice on the issue. ABVP Odisha State Secretary Diptimayee Pratihari said campuses are the birthplace of student leadership and that the absence of elections is affecting the development of student leadership. She urged the government to take an early decision instead of repeatedly giving assurances.
