A suspected cyber fraud network operating from China and allegedly controlled from Bhadrak has come under the scanner in Odisha. The syndicate reportedly lured people with investment offers and siphoned off their deposited money, with unemployed youths allegedly involved in the operation. Police have taken Pritam Nayak, alias Bablu, a resident of Bhadrak, into custody in connection with an alleged ₹92 lakh fraud targeting a Bhubaneswar-based businessman. The network is suspected of having links extending beyond Odisha to foreign locations.
