Cyclone Arnab's aftermath has left Ganjam devastated, with floodwaters destroying homes, paddy fields, businesses and vehicles. Bhanjanagar town, Baunshalundi, Bada Kodanda and Sana Kodanda are among the worst-affected areas. A woman from Baunshalundi describes how she lost her roof, cooking stove and stored rice to the disaster. Several paddy fields in Hinjilicut's Palli Padmanabhpur village have been submerged, while traders and vehicle showroom owners are counting their losses.

Residents of Bada Kodanda have alleged administrative negligence and delays in relief assistance. In Aska, around seven feet of floodwater entered the Sub-Divisional Hospital, disrupting patient care. Aska town, Purushottampur, Pandia and Digapahandi are also facing severe flooding and its aftermath. Although drinking water is being supplied, residents continue to struggle with the crisis.

Even after two days, floodwaters and relentless rainfall have worsened people's suffering. Aerial visuals reveal the massive destruction caused by the post-cyclone floods in Ganjam. OTV Special Story.
