Odisha is gearing up to tackle the possible impact of Cyclone Arnab, with preparations underway from Lok Seva Bhawan to the ground level. Fishermen have returned, boats have been secured, and NDRF and fire service teams are on alert. Five senior IAS officers will monitor the situation in five districts. Even if the cyclone does not directly hit Odisha, it could trigger extremely heavy rainfall, with South Odisha under close watch.
