The relocation of families from villages in the Satkosia Tiger Reserve area for tiger conservation has come under serious scrutiny over alleged irregularities in rehabilitation and resettlement. The report says around 1,000 families from eight villages were displaced between 2022 and 2024, while affected families allege that eligible beneficiaries were excluded, some ineligible persons were included and proper rehabilitation packages were not provided.
