Severe Cyclonic Storm Murasu has completed its landfall along the south Andhra Pradesh coast, between Nellore and Narsapur, near Ongole. The landfall process began around 1 AM and continued for nearly two hours. Wind speeds reached 100–110 kmph, causing widespread damage.
