Following a landslide at Taptapani Ghat triggered by the impact of the cyclone, night-time traffic on the ghat road has remained suspended. However, vehicles are still moving through the stretch under dangerous conditions. A landslide occurred yesterday, with mud and water flowing down from the hillside. Another landslide struck during the night, causing large boulders to roll down and fall onto the road, further increasing the danger for commuters.
