UP Firecracker Factory Blast: 11 Killed, Including 4 Children; 15 Injured

ୟୁପି କୌଶାମ୍ବୀ ବାଣ ବିସ୍ଫୋରଣରେ ୧୧ ଜଣଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ। ମୃତକଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ୪ ଜଣ ଶିଶୁ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ଅତିକମରେ ୧୫ ଜଣ ଆହତ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି। ଉତ୍ତର ପ୍ରଦେଶ ପ୍ରୟାଗରାଜ-କୌଶାମ୍ବୀ ସୀମା ନିକଟ ମହମ୍ମଦପୁରର ଏକ ବାଣ କାରଖାନାରେ ହୋଇଥିଲା ଭୟାବହ ବିସ୍ଫୋରଣ। ଏଥିରେ କାରଖାନା ବିଲ୍ଡିଂଟି ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ମାଟିରେ ମିଶିଯାଇଛି। ବିସ୍ଫୋରଣର ପ୍ରଭାବ ଏତେ ଥିଲା ଯେ, ୧୦୦ ମିଟର ପରିଧି ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଥିବା ୮ଟି ଘର ନଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି। ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ପୋଲିସ, ଦମକଳ ଏବଂ ନିକଟରେ ଥିବା ଏୟାରବେସର ବାୟୁସେନା କର୍ମଚାରୀମାନେ ମିଳିତ ଭାବେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିଥିଲେ। ଗୁରୁତରଙ୍କୁ ଉନ୍ନତ ଚିକିତ୍ସା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରୟାଗରାଜର ହସ୍ପିଟାଲକୁ ସ୍ଥାନାନ୍ତର କରାଯାଇଛି। ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରୁ ଦିଲ୍ଲୀ-ହାଓଡ଼ା ରୁଟରେ ଟ୍ରେନ ଚଳାଚଳକୁ କିଛି ସମୟ ପାଇଁ ଅସ୍ଥାୟୀ ଭାବେ ବନ୍ଦ କରିଦିଆଯାଇଥିଲା।

A massive explosion at a firecracker factory in Mohammadpur near the Prayagraj-Kaushambi border in Uttar Pradesh has killed 11 people, including four children, and injured at least 15 others. The blast completely destroyed the factory building and damaged eight houses within a 100-metre radius. Local police, fire services and Air Force personnel from a nearby airbase joined the rescue operation. Those seriously injured were shifted to hospitals in Prayagraj for advanced treatment. As a safety precaution, train movement on the Delhi-Howrah route was also temporarily suspended for some time.
