ଦୀର୍ଘ ବର୍ଷ ଧରି ଗାଁରେ ନାହିଁ ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ୍। ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟା ହେଲେ ଅନ୍ଧାରରେ ବୁଡ଼ି ଯାଉଛି ଗଜପତି ଜିଲ୍ଲା ମୋହନା ବ୍ଲକ ଚାନ୍ଦିପୁଟ ପଞ୍ଚାୟତର ଗୁବୁରୀଗୁଡ଼ା ବଟସାହି। ପ୍ରାୟ ୧୫ ପରିବାର ବସବାସ କରୁଥିବା ଏହି ଗାଁରେ ଆଜି ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପହଞ୍ଚିପାରିନି ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ୍ ସେବା। ରାତିରେ ଦୀପ ଓ ଡିବିରି ଆଲୋକ ହିଁ ଏମାନଙ୍କ ଭରସା। ଏହାର ପ୍ରଭାବ ପଡ଼ିଛି ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କ ପାଠପଢ଼ା ଉପରେ। ବହୁ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀ ପାଠ ଛାଡ଼ି ଦେଇଥିବା ବେଳେ କିଛି ଦାଦନ ଖଟିବାକୁ ବାହାର ରାଜ୍ୟକୁ ଯାଇଛନ୍ତି। ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ୍ ସଂଯୋଗ ପାଇଁ ବାରମ୍ବାର ଅଭିଯୋଗ ସତ୍ତ୍ୱେ ସମାଧାନ ହୋଇନି।

For years, Guburiguda Batasahi under Chandiput Gram Panchayat in Mohana Block of Gajapati district has remained without electricity, leaving around 15 families in complete darkness after sunset. With no power supply, residents depend on oil lamps and kerosene lanterns at night, severely affecting children's education. Many students have reportedly dropped out of school, while others have migrated to other states for work. Despite repeated appeals for an electricity connection, the long-pending demand of the villagers remains unresolved.
