Women Protest Illegal Liquor Sale, Smash Bottles in Balasore Village

ବାଲେଶ୍ୱର ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଭୋଗରାଇ ବ୍ଲକ ନହରା ଗ୍ରାମରେ ଚୋରା ମଦ ବିକ୍ରିକୁ ନେଇ ତୀବ୍ର ଅସନ୍ତୋଷ। ଗ୍ରାମରେ ଚୋରା ମଦ ବିକ୍ରି ହେଉଥିବା ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରି ଗ୍ରାମବାସୀ ଓ SHG ମହିଳାମାନେ ଏକଜୁଟ ହୋଇ ପ୍ରତିବାଦ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ମଦ ବିକ୍ରି ବନ୍ଦ କରିବା ସହ ଘରେ ଘରେ ରଖାଯାଇଥିବା ମଦକୁ ନଷ୍ଟ କରିଥିବା ଜଣାପଡ଼ିଛି।

Tension over alleged illegal liquor sales has been reported in Nahara village under Bhograi block in Balasore district. Local residents and Self-Help Group (SHG) women came together to protest against the alleged sale of illicit liquor in the village. The protesters demanded that the illegal liquor trade be stopped and reportedly destroyed liquor stored in houses across the village.
