15-Ft Crocodile Enters Cattle Shed in Kendrapada, Safely Rescued

କେନ୍ଦ୍ରାପଡ଼ା ଜିଲ୍ଲା ମହାକାଳପଡ଼ା ବ୍ଲକ ଅଧୀନ କଂସାର ବଡ ଦ।ଣ୍ଡୁଆ ପଞ୍ଚାୟତ ବଗ ଗହଣ ଗ୍ରାମରେ ବିଳମ୍ବିତ ରାତିରେ ଏକ ୧୫ ଫୁଟ ଲମ୍ବର ବଉଳା କୁମ୍ଭୀର ଗୋରୁ ଶିକାର କରିବା ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟରେ ଜଣଙ୍କ ଗୁହାଳ ଘରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିଥିଲା। ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖି କୁମ୍ଭୀରଟି ନିକଟସ୍ଥ ପୋଖରୀକୁ ଖସି ପଳାଇଥିଲା ।ଖବର ପାଇ ବନ ବନ ବିଭାଗ କର୍ମଚାରୀମାନେ ତୁରନ୍ତି ଘଟଣାସ୍ଥଳରେ ପହଞ୍ଚି ଗ୍ରାମବାସୀଙ୍କ ସହାୟତାରେ ଜାଲ ପକାଇ କୁମ୍ଭୀରଟିକୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ଭାବେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିଥିଲେ।

A 15-foot-long Baula crocodile entered a cattle shed late at night in Bagagahana village under Kansar-Bada Dandua Panchayat of Mahakalapada block in Kendrapada district, reportedly in search of cattle. After seeing people, the crocodile escaped into a nearby pond. On receiving information, Forest Department personnel reached the spot and, with the help of villagers, used nets to safely rescue the crocodile.
