Bhubaneswar’s Saheed Nagar Police have arrested Manoranjan Sahu over an alleged ₹30 lakh fraud in the name of selling a house. Police conducted a raid at an ashram in Manibandha village under Begunia Police limits and arrested Sahu, who was allegedly hiding there. As per the complaint, an agreement was made in 2022 for the sale of a house on a plot in the Saheed Nagar area. The complainant allegedly paid ₹30 lakh in cash and online transactions as advance, but the accused later refused to register the house and did not return the money.
