Spreading fake news about Cyclone Arnab could land you in jail! Odisha's Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) has issued a strict advisory against circulating misleading information on social media and digital platforms. Sharing unverified predictions about the cyclone's path, landfall, or potential damage without scientific evidence could invite legal action. Under the Disaster Management Act, spreading false information that creates public panic may result in imprisonment of up to one year or a fine.
