High drama unfolded in Delhi ahead of the CJP’s ‘Lahra Do Tiranga’ rally, as police detained the party’s founder, Abhijit Dipke. Security has also been tightened in Connaught Place. The rally is being organised over demands for the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and allegations of irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
