Nayagarh Block Chairperson and BJP leader Kishore Chandra Sahu has condemned the behaviour of MLA Arun Sahu towards police personnel outside Prajamandal Women’s College in Nayagarh. In a press statement, Kishore questioned the MLA’s conduct and demanded equal legal action against him. He said that if there were any grievances, they could be raised with the Superintendent of Police through legal channels, rather than behaving inappropriately with on-duty police personnel in public. Kishore also expressed support for the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP). Political exchanges over the incident continue in Nayagarh. The MLA’s response to the allegations was not available at the time of reporting.
