Record 21.42 Lakh Farmers Register to Sell Paddy, Registration Deadline Extended by 7 Days

ଧାନ ବିକ୍ରି ପାଇଁ ରେକର୍ଡ ସଂଖ୍ୟକ ଚାଷୀଙ୍କ ପଞ୍ଜୀକରଣ। ଗତକାଲି ସୁଦ୍ଧା ପଞ୍ଜୀକରଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି ୨୧.୪୨ ଲକ୍ଷ ଚାଷୀ। ଗତବର୍ଷ ପଞ୍ଜୀକରଣ କରିଥିଲେ ୧୯ ଲକ୍ଷରୁ ଅଧିକ ଚାଷୀ। ଧାନ ବିକ୍ରି ପାଇଁ ପଞ୍ଜୀକରଣ ୭ ଦିନ ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରିଥିଲେ ସରକାର। ଅବଧି ଆଉ ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରାଯିବ ନାହିଁ କହିଲେ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରଦୀପ ବଳ ସାମନ୍ତ।

A record 21.42 lakh farmers have registered for paddy sale in Odisha as of yesterday. Last year, more than 19 lakh farmers had registered for paddy procurement. The government had extended the registration period by seven days, but Minister Pradeep Bal Samant has said that the deadline will not be extended any further.
